A fully functional demo tech shop, built to show what fast, clean e-commerce can look like.

X-Commerce is a self-initiated demo project — a complete online tech shop designed and developed from the ground up as a working example, not a mockup. Real shopping flows, a fully responsive layout across every device, and a page-speed and SEO foundation built to meet real-world performance standards.

The Challenge

As a self-initiated demo, X-Commerce needed to prove real-world e-commerce performance, not just look like a shop — clean navigation, a working checkout flow, and genuine mobile speed, without a real client brief to test it against.

The Solution

Kidashi Design planned the category structure, product pages, and checkout flow around real shopping behavior, hand-built a fully responsive interface tested across every breakpoint, then optimized page speed, semantic markup, and meta structure for real Core Web Vitals performance.

The Outcome

The result is live at commerce-x.kidashidesign.com — a working online shop with real shopping flows, not a static mockup.

This project combined Kidashi Design's UI/UX and Development services.

“If a shop doesn’t sell on mobile in three seconds, it doesn’t sell.”

— Nicole Szatkowski, Kidashi Design

Process & Approach

3 Steps
01

Product & UX Architecture

Category structure, product pages and checkout flow planned around real shopping behavior — clear navigation, fast add-to-cart, zero friction from browse to buy.

02

Responsive Frontend Build

Hand-built, fully responsive interface tested across mobile, tablet and desktop — every breakpoint designed on purpose, not just resized.

03

Performance & SEO Engineering

Optimized page speed, semantic markup and meta structure so the store loads fast, ranks well and holds up under real Core Web Vitals scrutiny.

About this project

X-Commerce is a self-initiated demo tech shop by Nicole Szatkowski of Kidashi Design: a fully functional, fully responsive online shop built to show what fast, SEO-ready e-commerce can look like. The project covers UI/UX design, frontend development and SEO optimization, and it is live as a working demo at commerce-x.kidashidesign.com.

What is X-Commerce?

X-Commerce is a self-initiated demo project: a complete online tech shop with real shopping flows, designed and developed from the ground up as a working example rather than a mockup. It is a demonstration shop, not a live retailer.

What was built for X-Commerce?

UI/UX design, frontend development and SEO optimization. The category structure, product pages and checkout flow were planned around real shopping behavior, the responsive interface was hand-built and tested across every breakpoint, and page speed, semantic markup and meta structure were optimized for Core Web Vitals.

Who designed X-Commerce?

X-Commerce was created by Nicole Szatkowski, an IHK-certified media designer (digital and print) and founder of Kidashi Design — a freelance graphic and web design studio based in Tbilisi, Georgia, working for clients worldwide.
