What We Collect
This website collects personal data beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp), which are stored automatically by the hosting provider and deleted on a rolling basis, through Google Analytics — but only if you have explicitly given your consent via the cookie banner. Without your consent, no tracking or analytics takes place. See the "Cookies & Google Analytics" section below for details.
Cookies & Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; for transfers to the US: Google LLC). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies that enable analysis of the use of this website (including pages visited, time spent, approximate location, and device used). The data collected is personal data or data that can be linked to a person. Your IP address is truncated by Google before storage (IP anonymisation), so a direct link to you can generally no longer be established.
Google Analytics is used exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can grant or decline via the cookie banner on your first visit to this website. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no corresponding data is collected. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, with effect for the future, via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
In connection with data processing by Google Analytics, personal data may be transferred to the USA (a third country). This is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, which Google offers as part of its data processing agreement. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's Privacy Policy.
Any consent given or declined is stored locally in your browser (local storage) so the banner does not appear again on every visit. This storage is technically necessary and takes place independently of your analytics decision.
Contact Form
When you send a message via the contact form, your name, email address and message content are used solely to respond to your enquiry (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). For technical processing of form submissions, we use the service provider Formspree, Inc. (USA) as a data processor. This may involve a transfer of data to the USA (a third country); this transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. Data is otherwise not shared with third parties and is deleted once no longer needed.
Newsletter / Updates
If you subscribe to project updates via the footer form, only your email address is collected. It is used exclusively to send design and project news. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting nicole@kidashidesign.com.
Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port any personal data held about you. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact: nicole@kidashidesign.com
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
